Bulging veins: The most noticeable symptom of varicose veins is the appearance of twisted, bulging veins under the skin. They may be blue or dark purple in color.

Pain and discomfort: Varicose veins can cause pain, aching, and throbbing sensations in the affected area. The pain may worsen after prolonged periods of standing or sitting.

Swelling: People with varicose veins may experience swelling in the legs, ankles, and feet. This swelling is often more pronounced at the end of the day or after extended periods of standing.

Heaviness and fatigue: The affected legs may feel heavy and tired, even with minimal activity. This can make it difficult to walk or carry out daily tasks.

Itching and skin changes: Some individuals may experience itching or a rash in the area around the varicose veins. The skin over the veins may become dry, discolored, or thin, and may be more prone to ulcers or sores.
